Opened apps are still working, you can switch them using alt+tab. As always, all further feedback appreciated. Enter BIOS and load BIOS Defaults

Also there do seem to be spikes, as my temperature is around 10-15C but it says the maximum in this time 45C! It'll sit there for hours and you just see a black screen with the dots circling. ie it (in my case) would only accept one type of formatting and since I had tried the linux one it messed up. Still waiting for an official statement. It required me to restart so I restarted my laptop. So with everything there now up-to-date, windows is running fine, quietly and smoothly.

Left it on overnight and came back this morning to see it still happy. Windows Apps - dedicated to Windows10 UWP apps. Windows 7 32- bit and second OC on my PC Linux Ubuntu 64-bit works very good. SATA connections can sometimes wiggle loose rather easily.
Benchmarks will show increased Read speeds but applications are difficult to notice any increases or decreases. Do you think they'd be willing to send a replacement without too much hassle, and would I be without a PC for a few days at least?
