Is your configuration 4x1GB ram sticks or 2x2GB? 4 sticks may need a small nudge higher on the voltage to keep completely stable. No dust, it doesn't feel hot, the temp recorded aren't high, etc. Once you find that the system instability is caused by overheating, then if it a desktop remove the side panel and blow the dust out.
