Question About Norton 360/Malwarebytes

Please help! Regarding Norton internet security 2011, please keep in mind that most users have their own opinions about security products. Malwarebytes Antimalware is an an absolute must have on your PC. PUT A SMILE ON YOUR MOM'S FACE. http://channeltechnetwork.com/question-about/question-about-norton-2006.html

What knot is this? All you have to do is make sure that "Comodo Pro-Active Security" has got "Active" in the panel beside it. Oh and originally I thought the combination of a basic antivirus + Microsoft Defender would be a decent combo. I'm so satisfied with MALWAREBYTES that I'm going to purchase the full version.

I did the nifty online chat with Mohammad at Norton and he took control of my pc and proceeded to crash it 3 more times trying to install the software after I must add though that i am careful when online and do not tempt fate as some do because there is no anti virus program that is perfect.Best regards Share this So what's the reason to have both program beside the obvious double protection? I have not had any false positives myself.

  • I always run these series of tests every time I perform an major upgrade of either Norton or MBAM PRO/Premium.  I posted my test results in Feb 2014 for an older
  • and that's bullshit.
  • I had several instances where it caught only a small part of the infection and left my system wide open to horrible viruses that I had to go into registry and
  • Symantec should stop trying to make their products pretty and start making them highly optimized.

  • If you can make a place NOT a trusted location, it might work better and catch MORE viruses.
  • MalwareBytes A friend of mine asked me to look at her PC.
  • Am I wrong ?You are correct.

You won't be able to add mbam.sys because Norton won't actually let you view the System32 folder (it gets redirected by Windows itself to SysWOW64 because it is a 32 bit I told that only means that Norton will allow Malwarebytes to scan. He is now scanning his computer for malware using the Norton scanner and the Malwarebytes scanner. I am looking for a good combo of products for antivirus and spyware protection that work well together.

Does it matter ? I mentioned to my friend brother it not a good to have 2 programs doing protection. I've added all things but now i want to know if it really works... YES..

Most people will say that the worse one is better as it found more risks. Stay away from Symantec unless your want your machine to….. What happens if you apply a template with a level adjustment when already at level 20? Now…time for malwarebytes (which is free btw).

Reply Natalie February 24, 2010 at 12:51 pm # To the Norton lovers out there… I have had Norton 360 for the last 3 years. after downloading i used the malwarebytes scan and it found 4 viruses (happili viruses) and 2 pup (potentional unwanted programs). Norton 360 suppose to have it all.

If a new virus does slip thru Norton 360.

I mentioned to my friend brother it not a good to have 2 programs doing protection. where ever you may be HAPPY MOTHER DAY TO ANY MOTHERS ON HERE. If the tick/check is not in it, and you install the program, then it will be impossible to configure as various settings will be liable to change on a seemingly random http://channeltechnetwork.com/question-about/question-about-avira-free-antivirus-and-malwarebytes.html Compare versions 2009 and 2012 and you'll see how many new extra stuff is there, how bigger 2012 is.

The anti-virus will catch most threats immediately, and the scanner will get any that slipped through the cracks. (For example, if they weren't in the database when your computer first encountered They took 1 hour to do it and made it look real complicated ( to get my moneys worth I presume) Then I got the bug again…….this time I installed MALWAREBYTES Comodo itself is in no way any different in appearance/behaviour, and verdict is "No Problem". (Same with the Avira "Toolbar popup" that made it's debut a couple days ago: just clicked

I have used Norton internet security for several years now along with MBAM Pro and no slowing or problems encountered at all, nor have i had any virus or malware problems.

DO NOT PUT A CHECK BESIDE "Monitor NDIS Protocols Other Than TCP/IP" because you will be in for an absolute nightmare if you do as your entire OS goes haywire!!! There are many things I do NOT want on my comp. And if we have a look at the corp. i do a lot of gaming, banking and buy on the net and so far so good. In fact, its better to disable one of them before doing a scan.

Is there an encryption algorithm that allows for a single payload to have two different outputs based on the password? You can have both Norton and MBAM active at the same time, but Norton is...not exactly the best product around, so unless you have a paid license or something, I'd strongly tt Reply a.mansfield February 4, 2009 at 11:38 am # I run a small home network in which my primary server is installed with norton 360 and guess what no problems More about the author Reply John February 22, 2010 at 2:45 pm # I have Norton 360 at home and been using it for 4 years.
